Description

Red Oak is looking for motivated COMMERCIAL PLUMBERS, to use their skills/experience, and grow with the company. This person will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing related piping and material as directed by site foreman. All jobs will be new commercial construction, not service repair.

Requirements

• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and rough drawings, to assess or plan plumbing installations and layouts.
• Familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper.
• Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted.
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in basic mathematics and conversion of measurements
• Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fitting, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial structures.
• Cutting, welding, and assembling pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures
• Inspecting and testing plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance
• Mechanical and boiler systems experience (preferred)
• Ability to run DWV, water, gas.

Salary Description

$16 - $30 per hour base on experience
