EnviroVantage is looking for Asbestos Supervisors.

The Asbestos Supervisor will be responsible for the direct oversight and management of staff and subcontractors working on diverse environmental construction projects. Openings available working in demolition, restoration, earthwork and storm water. This position may also require hands-on site work to have projects completed on time and efficiently.

Essential Functions:

  • Supervise and direct field crews and subcontractors
  • Coordinate onsite work
  • Responsible for getting job completed in a safe and efficient manner
  • Ensure implementation of project specific work plans
  • Manage crew's labor and equipment time to achieve maximum productivity and meet budgets
  • Interface and communicate with clients in a professional manner
  • Oversee delivery and off-loading of supplies and materials.
  • Complete daily field reports.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as an Asbestos, Demolition or Construction Supervisor
  • Minimum of 2 years related field experience with construction and management
  • Ability to read blueprints and drawings
  • OSHA 10 and HAZWOPER 40 required. If not current, willing to get certificate within 30 days of hire.
  • 40 hour Asbestos Supervisor certification required.
  • Ability to manage budgets and schedules preferred, but not required.
  • Operate and maintain heavy equipment preferred, but not required.
  • Torch cutting and Rigging experience preferred, but not required.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or vocational schooling preferred, but not required

Working Environment/Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to perform tasks that involve bending, lifting, walking, carrying, and using a force equal to lifting 50 to 100 pounds.
  • Qualified Candidate must be able to pass a physical examination by medical professional for the anticipated work requirements.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and be able to obtain access to military bases across the United States.
  • A valid driver's license is required, as well as a safe driving record as measured by company policy.
