Core Responsibilities of our Manufacturing Engineer Machining:
- Conduct continuous improvement opportunities to improve efficiency and reliability of machining processes
- CNC programming for all horizontal (HMC) and vertical (VMC) machining
- Cutting tool specification and continuous process improvement to reduce cycle time and increase tool life
- CMM programming and program management
- Gauge design and specification
- Machining fixture design
- Data collection and analysis
- Mechanical design, Electrical and Robot knowledge
- PLC programming, Pneumatic systems, Fluid systems knowledge
- Experience with presses and fasteners
- Error proofing concepts and production processes
- Project management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent four-year college or technical school and 2 years of relevant experience, or 10 years of relevant experience and training, or an equivalent combination of both education and experience
