Job Description
Job Summary:
The Title Clerk/Cashier at Okoboji Motor Company will be responsible for accurately processing vehicle titles and completing financial transactions for customers. This is a full-time, hourly administrative position in the auto industry located in Spirit Lake, Iowa. As an individual contributor, the Title Clerk/Cashier will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining smooth operations for the dealership.

Responsibilities:
- Process all vehicle titles in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
- Verify and maintain accurate records of all vehicle titling and registration paperwork
- Prepare all necessary documentation for vehicle sales and purchases, including bills of sale and trade-in documents
- Assist customers with completing financial transactions, collecting payments, and providing receipts
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure all paperwork is properly filed and stored
- Answer customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service at all times
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any issues related to title and registration paperwork
- Stay updated on changes and updates to title and registration laws and procedures
- Other administrative duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in the auto industry, specifically with title and registration processes, is preferred
- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations related to vehicle titling and registration
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy is crucial in this role
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
