Work Schedule: Full-time, Day Shift

Skookum is seeking a reliable and skilled Plumber II with a professional attitude. This individual shall provide the proper installation, maintenance, repair, and replacement as approved and necessary of all plumbing, potable and non-potable water, heating, gas, steam, hot water and chilled water systems, and their associated equipment and components, fittings, and piping.
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
Maintain, repair, install, inspect, remove, replace, and modify all plumbing equipment and components for water, sewer, swimming pools, inert gas, natural gas, air vacuum, compressed air systems, steam, and POL equipment.
Remove blockage from drain lines, both interior and exterior sewers.
Adjust, repair, or replace leaky joints, faucets, and other outlets as necessary to maintain proper and efficient operation of all related plumbing and steam fitting systems.
Install and repair domestic, industrial, and commercial hot water heaters, hot water storage tanks and plumbing fixtures, equipment, and components.
Install or replace and connect water, air, natural gas, sewage, and water/storm fixtures.
Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance meet environmental protection requirements.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5-8 years of experience
Semi-skilled in most plumbing functions.
Must have knowledge of and apply plumbing codes and regulations.
State plumbing license/certification is preferred but not required.
May be required to use manual or power tools to complete work assignments.
Must be able to follow maintenance instructions, service and diagnose systems, and complete repairs.
Physical Requirements:
Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.
Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
Requirements:
Valid state driver's license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Skookum's insurance carrier.
Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access. A background check and E-Verify will be conducted for this position.
