Purpose of Role Pricing is a key driver of Under Armour’s future profitability and success. As the Director, Global Pricing, you will play a pivotal role in building a pricing team at Under Armour. You will be a key leader of this team reporting directly to the VP, Global Planning. This position will be an integral business partner responsible for challenging and supporting the leadership team, anticipating business issues, and driving good decision-making. Your Impact Create and drive the vision for the pricing function globally including analytics, processes, and tools to bring UA to the next level. Strong understanding of data and analytics; particularly related to pricing initiatives including price elasticity. Understanding of the best-in-class pricing tools and analytics – including ML / AI models – to implement for use in setting MSRP’s, Promotional Effectiveness, and Markdown Optimization. Lead the continued development and evolution of the data that UA collects and analyzes for pricing. Drive the initial ticket pricing approach and model development for key UA categories, proactively delivering fact-based pricing recommendations to cross-functional partners. Work side-by-side with global category teams to influence initial ticket pricing during the go-to-market process. Continue to evolve the tools and capabilities that UA must set markdown prices. Develop holistic roadmap for promotional analysis and execution. Ensure key pricing objectives are met in UA’s go-to-market process and drive visibility of pricing at milestone meetings. Provide input to Marketing regarding promotion responsiveness of categories and recommended products to feature. Qualifications Ability to influence cross-functional partners through strong and proven relationships. Ability to successfully lead a cross-functional pod. Ability to communicate product strategies verbally and in writing. Strong analytical and conceptual skills. Ability to provide mentorship to junior-level teammates and cross-functional partners. Bachelor's degree with typically 12 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with typically 10 years of relevant experience. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate findings into actionable solutions and processes. Experience with analyzing big data sets via data structuring and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.). Strong communication skills with ability to influence others. Proven experience in leading and managing a team. Workplace Location Travel: Ability to travel domestically and internationally (5%). Relocation No relocation provided. Base Compensation $165,446.00 - $227,488.80 USD. Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
