Develop and implement a National Business Strategy to grow our category and stay ahead of the competition. Delivering the Triple Win:
Oversee key broker relationships to ensure mutual growth and success in revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Leadership:
Supervise and mentor a Sales Analyst, fostering professional growth while driving outstanding results. Driving Performance:
Analyze market trends, optimize channel strategies, and manage business opportunities to unlock new levels of success. The Sales Director, Broker Operations is hybrid and located in our HQ Office in Parsippany, NJ. Main Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the Sales Agency partners within the Grocery and Convenience channel’s business. Lead multiple broker organizations for the Convenience channel and Regional Grocery that deliver and execute against Ferrero’s vision, strategy, as well as, deliver the core Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) initiatives. Work with the various channel Vice Presidents to align and drive Sales KPI’s that are focused on Distribution, Shelf positioning, Quality Merchandising (DSQM), as well as, pricing recommendations. Co-develop with the channel VP’s, as well as the VP of retail on a 3-year strategic plan that closes share within the Convenience channel and close fair share gap in Independent Grocery. Conduct Monthly Business Reviews with the Brokered and Ferrero Sales Organization to drive accountability of the Sales KPI's. Work with the internal teams (Marketing / Trade Marketing / Category Management), as well as, the channel teams on developing sales tools that deliver net sales growth, distribution, display and shelving best practices. Lead the transition plan of broker agencies by engaging and educating on the Ferrero strategy vision and KPI’s. Lead Top to Top meetings with senior level executives from Broker agencies to ensure they deliver the sales KPI’s and annual financial goals. Manage selling expenses to ensure Ferrero achieves expected ROI performance. Lead the development of sales KPI scorecards for Regional Grocery, Convenience and Walmart retail. Develop the long-term direct strategy on a direct retail model to include Ferrero, and other Ferrero affiliates for Walmart. Requires travel to broker HQ offices and local markets which accounts for 45% of the time. Who we are looking for:
15+ years in CPG cross functional sales and multi-channel experience. Exceptional business acumen with emphasis on best-in-class. Strong communication and leadership skills with an ability to outline and reinforce the short- and long-term vision, sales strategy and ability to interact with all levels of the organization. Strategic and pro-active with interpersonal skills and an ability to influence Senior leadership levels within the organization and with the customer. Commercially astute with a strong business sense and excellent problem solving / analytical skills. Inspirational leadership and management style that promotes teamwork, diversity, elevates associate performance, and nurtures top talents. Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to build consensus and foster positive relationships. Capacity to solve problems through creative, innovative solutions and challenge traditional methods of accomplishing tasks and removing obstacles. Strong negotiation experience and skill set.
