Join LT Apparel's dynamic team and support the smooth functioning of our distribution center operations. The Administrative Assistant will play a vital role in managing the administrative and operational needs of the Director of Operations. This position is integral to ensuring efficiency in logistics, communications, and daily workflows, contributing to our commitment to excellence.
Principal Responsibilities- Administrative Support: Manage the Director of Operations' schedule, coordinate meetings, and arrange travel logistics.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare, review, and distribute reports, presentations, and documentation related to distribution center performance, logistics, and operations.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate records in systems such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP, or other operational platforms.
- Inventory and Supplies: Monitor office supplies, equipment, and inventory needs, ensuring timely replenishment and functionality.
- Project Coordination: Assist in coordinating special projects, tracking timelines, and communicating progress with relevant stakeholders.
- Compliance: Support documentation and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Event Coordination: Organize logistics for team meetings, training sessions, and on-site events.
- Problem Resolution: Act as a liaison to resolve administrative issues promptly and effectively.
- Other Duties: Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned to support operational efficiency.
- Required: High school diploma or GED.
- Preferred: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
- Required: 2+ years of administrative experience in a logistics, distribution center, or operational environment.
- Preferred: Experience supporting senior leadership in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and operational software (e.g., WMS, ERP).
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Familiarity with logistics and distribution center processes is a plus.
- Results-Oriented: Maintains focus on achieving operational objectives and meeting deadlines.
