Description TYPICAL DUTIES: Actively supports the Company's commitment to safety and its "Core Values". Always represents the Company with high moral standards while adhering to the Company's "Code of Business Conduct and Ethics". Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment, such as robots, conveyors, and programmable controllers, following electrical code and blueprints, using hand tools and voltage tester. Connects power supply wires to machines and equipment, and connects cables and wires between machines and equipment, following manuals, schematic diagrams, and blueprints. Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus, such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures, using test equipment, and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables. Tests malfunctioning machinery, using test equipment, and discusses malfunction with other maintenance workers to diagnose malfunction. Replaces faulty electrical components of machine, such as relays, switches, and motors, and positions sensing devices. Diagnoses and repairs or replaces faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards. Replaces electric motor bearings and rewires motors. May plan layout of wiring and install wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings. May diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment. Required to hold electrician's license. Identify safety hazards you or other employees may be subject to and take all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize hazards. Perform all other job-related duties as requested by supervision. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: Must possess a Washington State electrical certificate or license. Minimum of three (3) years or more in refinery maintenance/turnaround/or construction experience. A general knowledge of basic hand tools. Must be able to pass the Electrical Skills Test at or above 70% or complete the NCCER certification for your craft. Completed the Matrix Service Safety training, Process Safety Management training and Client / Site specific training. Obtain and maintain an active status within the DISA or ASAPCC drug testing program. Washington law requires pay information in job postings. The typical hiring range for this position in Washington is shown below. The pay rate will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications and prior experience, specific skill set, geographic location, internal equity, and other factors influencing pay. As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of this range, and in certain circumstances, may fall outside the listed hiring range.
