Job Description

PeopleReady Skilled Trades is looking for experienced Electricians for night-time commercial work for sites located in and around the Fort Lauderdale area. Sites last anywhere from a few days to a few weeks and are sporadic.

Note: The pay rate for this job is $25 - $27 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.

Responsibilities:

• Measuring, cutting, and bending wire and conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools
• Maintaining tools, vehicles, and equipment and keeping parts and supplies in order
• Performing semiskilled and unskilled laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment
• Following state and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of recent commercial electrical project experience
• Possess tools of the trade
• Ability to work nights
• Experience bending pipe
