ABOUT THE JOB
The primary purpose of the Warehouse & Delivery Associate is to deliver Hawkins products, equipment and services. The Warehouse Associate uses deliveries to a customer site and every interaction with the customer/potential customer as an opportunity to promote Hawkins products, equipment and services. TSRs follow all safety protocols and operate vehicles to deliver product while providing equipment and technical support.

Responsibilities
Warehouse & Branch Operations: Identify potential inventory constraints and work to reach optimal inventory levels which support our customers. Position will be a lead in guiding cycle count effectiveness and report out cycle count accuracy. Monitor inventory transactions, reconcile physical inventories, and provide recommendations for improving accuracy. Effectively monitor order status, manage incoming calls, emails, and faxes to process customer orders, returns and other requests in a timely manner. Anticipate customer needs and give a high priority to customer satisfaction Partner with internal customers to fulfill customer needs. Effective written and verbal communication with internal and external customers Respond to customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and potential alternatives within policies of the company and follow up to ensure resolution satisfies customer needs Product, Equipment & Service:
Follow all Hawkins safety and training procedures Safely deliver chemical products following Hawkins product transfer protocols and equipment. Safely install and service all products and equipment Follow inventory control procedures Provide backup sales support Safety:
Comply with all DOT operating, maintenance, and load securement standards and all applicable Federal, State, and Corporate environmental, safety, health regulations and standard operating procedures. Communicate compliance, safety, and equipment needs as personally identified. ABOUT YOU
High school diploma or equivalent experience. Ability to obtain and maintain a Class B Commercial Driver's License and comply with DOT standards. Must be able to work with or learn to use the computer and software systems at Hawkins. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to engage with customers with effective written and verbal communications. Ability to learn and perform math calculations to determine product profits, pump flow rates, etc. Excellent organization and time management skills. Available to regularly work a schedule that consists of 10-12 hour days and requires some overnight travel. Demonstrated problem solving skills. Ability to lift over 50 pounds regularly, 75 lbs. occasionally. Ability to regularly climb in and out of truck cab and onto and off of the truck gate.
