Role Description:
We are seeking an experienced Director of Demand Generation to lead our demand generation efforts with current, up-to-date expertise in digital marketing. As our Director of Demand Generation, you will be responsible for driving pipeline and revenue growth through best-in-class demand generation tactics, campaigns, execution, and measurement. In this role, you will help Ikigai establish and refine our marketing strategy, launch campaigns and experiments that help identify our ideal customer profile (ICP), while maximizing awareness and interest in our innovative platform and solutions.
This is not a "keep the lights on" demand generation role. Rather, you will be tasked with experimenting, testing, and iterating to uncover the most effective ways to reach and engage our target market. You should be comfortable operating in an ambiguous environment - you are helping us create a playbook for enterprise AI.
This Director of Demand Generation role requires a strong ability to work independently, but in collaboration. You will be a hands-on leader, partnering with sales, Ops, Product and Content Marketing to set demand generation strategies, content, and other offerings mapped to key buyer personas across their lifecycle, including acquisition, retention, and expansion. As we grow, you will focus on establishing scalable, sustainable demand generation processes and strategies.
Responsibilities:
Strategy Development Analyze historical lead to win data, customer engagement and competitive information; work with product marketing and GTM management to evaluate and test Ikigai's ICP, target personas, and integrated campaign strategy. Develop and test demand generation strategies aligned with overall business objectives, target markets, and customer segments. Collaborate with sales, product, and customer success teams to identify opportunities and drive revenue growth. Manage demand generation budgets and resources Digital Marketing
Drive lead generation campaigns across digital channels, including email marketing, search engine marketing (SEM), social media advertising, content syndication, and other relevant platforms. Develop and implement database build and digital marketing strategies, including email marketing and lead nurturing and remarketing campaigns. Manage Marketo instance with the support of a marketing analyst, including campaign setup, templates, and workflows. Utilize tools like ZoomInfo to enhance lead generation efforts/enrichment and maintain data quality. Website Optimization
Oversee website, landing pages, and performance on Webflow in partnership with our outside web and design agency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure website content aligns with demand generation goals. Analyze website metrics and make data-driven recommendations for improvement. Manage marketing systems integrations. Content Marketing
Collaborate with content and product marketing and other subject matter experts to create compelling and targeted content assets, including whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, webinars, videos, and infographics, to engage prospects throughout the buyer's journey. Advertising and Events
Manage and optimize advertising campaigns across Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads. Develop targeting strategies and work with product and content marketing to create and execute compelling ad copy and creative assets. Monitor and report on ad performance, making data-driven optimizations to improve ROI. Research, plan and drive the performance of self-hosted virtual or in-person events (or) with turnkey vendors as approved Reporting, Analytics, and Metrics
Track, analyze, and report on key demand generation metrics using tools such as Salesforce.com and Google Analytics. Provide insights and recommendations to optimize demand generation efforts. Create and maintain dashboards and reports for stakeholder visibility. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for demand generation initiatives. Provide regular reports and insights to leadership, showcasing the impact of demand generation efforts on pipeline and revenue.
