Job Summary

The Software Engineer will manage and enhance the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Blue Prism platform infrastructure and contribute to the development and configuration of automated workflows.

This role involves deploying and monitoring bots, implementing DevOps principles, and leveraging scripting tools for automation.

The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for optimization and ensure the operational stability and scalability of systems.

Key Responsibilities Manage RPA Blue Prism platform infrastructure and configure automated workflows as needed. Implement RPA bots in non-production and production environments, ensuring proper configuration and performance monitoring. Collaborate with clients to recommend best practices for RPA implementation, scaling, and process improvements. Automate platform management processes using tools like Ansible and other scripting languages. Develop training and documentation materials for internal and client use. Proactively identify opportunities for system enhancements, leveraging feedback from users and stakeholders. Ensure the end-to-end observability of systems by implementing logging, metrics, and tracing frameworks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design scalable solutions. Deploy monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for RPA infrastructure (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana). Assist with production deployments, including rollback plans and risk mitigation strategies. Required Qualifications

Solid understanding of RPA concepts, principles, and best practices. Proficiency in Windows server and workstation administration. Demonstrated experience in software development with technologies like .Net 4.0 or higher, Python (preferred), Java, Blue Prism, or UI Path. Hands-on experience with logging, metrics, and tracing frameworks for system observability. Expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and CloudFormation. Proficiency in distributed Linux environments and version control/CI/CD practices. Experience with IT Service Management, including Incident and Problem management. Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with implementing monitoring and alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana). Knowledge of security, performance, and disaster recovery best practices. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a focus on performance bottlenecks and root cause analysis. Proven ability to work independently and influence cross-functional teams. Experience with Site Reliability Engineering and DevOps principles.
