Job Description
We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for a temporary position in LaBelle, FL, supporting a project expected to last 5–6 months. This role offers the possibility of transitioning into a permanent position based on future workload and performance. Compensation and Benefits:
- Pay: Starting at $23-$24+/hour based on experience and skills.
- Schedule: Expected 40–55 hours per week, including regular overtime.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment, including excavators, wheel loaders, hydraulic hammers, and mobile crusher/screeners.
- Produce high-quality aggregate materials while achieving production targets.
- Perform routine servicing and maintenance on equipment.
- Load materials onto trucks safely and efficiently.
- Follow all MSHA and OSHA workplace safety standards.
- Collaborate with a team of 2–3 operators to ensure smooth and productive operations.
- Maintain compliance with safety and production standards.
- Keep accurate records of operations and equipment maintenance.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in heavy equipment operation (required).
- Strong skills in handling excavators, wheel loaders, hydraulic hammers, and mobile crusher/screeners.
- Quarry or mining experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- MSHA training preferred; OSHA 10 Construction training is required (provided if necessary).
- Valid driver’s license (required).
- Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working well in a team.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
