Responsibilities:

As an Accounting Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing and managing the daily operations of the accounting department, specifically related to supply chain operations.
2. Performing balance sheet account reconciliations, preparing financial statements, and producing budget versus actual reports.
3. Ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
4. Implementing and enforcing accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.
5. Managing and overseeing the preparation of all financial reports; ensuring these reports comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.
6. Utilizing Microsoft Dynamics to streamline accounting processes and procedures.
7. Coordinating and directing budgeting, procurement, investment activities, and financial planning.
8. Working closely with the supply chain team to understand and manage costs and identify areas for financial optimization.
9. Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
10. Providing strategic guidance around capital financing options to support company growth needs.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position, preferably within the supply chain sector.
3. Proven experience with balance sheet account reconciliations and financial reporting.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics and other accounting software.
5. Strong understanding of economic and banking processes.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
7. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
9. High attention to detail and accuracy.
10. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
