Precision Security Team is a veteran owned and operated company in the northern Colorado area. We service areas from Denver, CO to Cheyenne, WY. In operation since 2018, we have grown exponentially, being entrusted with many local government contracts, other critical sites, schools, patrol, events, etc. We pride ourselves with hiring veterans, previous law enforcement, and first responders. As an Armed Security Guard with Precision Security Team, you will assist with all security-related concerns and other requests as needed to ensure a safe environment for the public at your assigned site. Every Security Guard at Precision Security Team owns the client's experience and their bottom line. It is of the utmost importance to uphold Precision Security Team’s professional image to the client, the public, and law enforcement at all times. It is imperative that you practice and demonstrate Precision Security Team’s core values and code of conduct everyday.


Your schedule would be 2:30 pm-10:30 pm Monday through Friday for a total of 40 hours per week. Please do not apply if this does not work with your availability.


Security guards working in the city of Greeley must have a security guard license to work in the city limits. Candidate must be willing to acquire security guard license immediately upon hire.


Security guards in this position must possess a valid driver's license and be able to pass a motor vehicle report (MVR). Candidates will be disqualified to be added to our vehicle insurance if they have more than one major violation in the past five years or more than three minor violations in the past three years.


5 Critical Roles of the Position:

  • Perform Comprehensive Building Patrols: Conduct thorough interior and exterior patrols of campus buildings to ensure the safety and security of occupants and property.
  • Conduct Vehicle Patrols Around Campus: Regularly patrol campus grounds in a vehicle to monitor activity, deter unauthorized access, and identify potential safety hazards. Maintain a visible presence to promote a secure environment and respond quickly to incidents or emergencies.
  • Respond to Campus Inquiries and Emergencies: Respond promptly and professionally to phone calls and requests for assistance from staff, students, and guests. Address security concerns, provide clear guidance, and escalate situations as necessary to maintain safety and order.
  • Secure Facilities During Closing Procedures: Secure buildings at designated closing times by ensuring all personnel have vacated the premises, locking doors, and activating alarm systems. Conduct final walkthroughs to confirm that security protocols are in place before departing.
  • Maintain Strict Confidentiality: Safeguard the confidentiality of all activities, incidents, and sensitive information encountered while on duty. Adhere to campus policies and applicable laws to protect the privacy of individuals and the integrity of the institution.

Precision Security Team or the client can assign other duties to you as necessary at any time.

Pay: This site pays $22.90/hour. This is a W2 position. Employees who work 30 or more hours a week are eligible for health benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life, and accident insurance. Colorado is an at-will employment state.


Hiring Process: Our hiring process begins with a thorough review of resumes to identify candidates who align well with our company’s needs. If your resume stands out, you will receive a call for an initial phone screen. Following a successful phone screen, we will invite you to an in-person interview with the hiring manager and other relevant management team members. Should you advance past this stage, a job offer will be extended to you no less than 24 hours later. After the offer is accepted, we conduct a background check and proceed with online onboarding.


Assessments will be scored based on answering the question, and proper use of grammar and written communication. This approach helps candidates provide comprehensive and well-organized responses that showcase their skills and experiences effectively, and helps candidates provide answers that are coherent, concise, and impactful, making it easier for interviewers to assess their competencies and fit for the role.

Your application will be automatically rejected if you are not 21 years of age or older, do not have a high school diploma or GED, and/or do not have previous firearm experience.

  • able to work the posted hours without modification

Physical Requirements:

  • able to train and become certified to use an approved firearm
  • ability to use/maintain/operate/manipulate firearm, handcuffs, and other issued gear
  • able to stand for up to eight hours at a time
  • able to pass company basic hand-to-hand course
  • able to walk up and down stairs frequently throughout your shift
  • able to lift at least 50 pounds unassisted
  • able to wear issued gear belt and exterior tactical vest (site specific) for the entire duration of your assigned shift
