UI/UX Designer (Remote USA)

Location : Remote (USA)

The UXUI Designer will be part of a talented agile team of engineers/developers/product owner/stakeholders devoted to creating & maintaining world class software applications connecting/monitoring standby generators.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems, participate in collaboration with stakeholders and contribute to larger design projects Collaborate with product owners, product management, service, and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience Execute visual design thinking stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas Present designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders Participates in user research & aligning with the larger market needs Provide deliverables, prototypes, and user flows, use cases that directly help drive feature value Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS

Supervisory Relationships:

Reports to Director - Marketing, Home Energy Organization Relationships:

Interaction with Sr UXUI Designer, business executive management on NPD or other programs, highlighting progress & risks. Frequent contact with UXUI designers, software, engineering, marketing, service, etc. Occasional contact with Legal Department regarding Company policy, patent application, or lawsuits. External Business Relationships:

Occasional contact with dealers/installers Occasional contact with external vendors Skills/Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Four-year degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, User Design or other related field 1+ years of experience UXUI Proven UI and UX experience Demonstrable UI and UX design skills with portfolio Experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps Competency in Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, or other visual design and wire-framing tools Competency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction preferably Figma and Sketch Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively Up to date with the latest UI and UX trends, techniques, and technologies

The salary range for this position is $83,300 - $105,200. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
