As a Master Data Analyst with the Client Business Integrated Solutions Division, you will play a key role within the Business Analysis and Testing Support team. Your primary responsibilities include analyzing data-related issues, documenting business processes, developing data requirements, creating user stories, and performing testing. The role supports both Agile (Sprint) and Waterfall methodologies in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), contributing to ongoing improvements in a fast-paced environment with high standards for quality and efficiency.

Your primary responsibilities include analyzing data-related issues, documenting business processes, developing data requirements, creating user stories, and performing testing. The role supports both Agile (Sprint) and Waterfall methodologies in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), contributing to ongoing improvements in a fast-paced environment with high standards for quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project team members and stakeholders to understand business processes and data requirements.
- Gain expertise in client datasets, data lifecycle, and conduct source data profiling to identify data conflicts and recommend resolutions.
- Perform entity resolution to identify matching/merging needs and address semantic conflicts.
- Capture and manage metadata, creating process flows, context diagrams, and data flow diagrams for documentation.
- Define and document requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to enhance business and technical processing.
- Break down requirements into Epics, Features, and clear user stories for technical team use, aligning them with data models and architectures.
- Group related user stories into themes, document dependencies, and link stories to business processes.
- Assist Product Owner in managing and prioritizing the product backlog, using progressive elaboration techniques.
- Develop conceptual prototypes and mock-ups, and work collaboratively with internal staff, vendors, and consultants.
- Perform Quality Analyst tasks, including defining test objectives, creating test plans, and executing test cases.
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business teams, providing status updates to Project Managers and Scrum Masters.
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
- Minimum of 10 years in business data analysis, delivering detailed analysis artifacts.
- 5+ years as an Agile Business Analyst with a strong understanding of Scrum methodologies.
- Proficiency in managing Product and Sprint backlogs, translating requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Experience with enterprise data management, including operational data stores, data warehouses, and data lakes.
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, Project Server).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse team of peers and stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), or Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP).
- Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) and automated testing tools like Test Complete.
