Our client, an established law firm, is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join their growing team in Atlanta, GA. This position offers exceptional opportunities for professional development and long-term career growth in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Playing an integral role in all transactions, with a specific emphasis on reviewing and abstracting purchase agreements and ground leases
- Preparing critical dates memos and closing checklists, reviewing and analyzing title commitments, underlying title instruments and boundary surveys
- Drafting summaries and objection letters relating to title reviews
- Reviewing and analyzing title documents and surveys, spotting any potential issues, and preparing title objections and responses
- Handling commercial real estate leasing matters- involved in drafting, reviewing, and managing commercial leases, amendments and ancillary documents.
- Organizing and fulfilling conditions required to meet title requirements, conducting research on real property tax and ownership information
- Coordinating real estate closings along with your colleagues, monitoring the recording and issuance of final title insurance policies and otherwise managing post-closing matters
- Collaborate closely with title companies, surveyors, and others to resolve discrepancies and ensure clear property titles
- Support every stage of commercial real estate transactions, from due diligence to financing and closing, while helping organize the structure and documentation needed.
- Managing multiple deals at once, keeping checklists up to date, tracking key deadlines, and making sure everyoneclients, lenders, local agencies, and internal teamsstays connected
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a paralegal, specifically in commercial real estate with a focus on title and survey matters
- Specialized experience in entity formation and real estate closings
- Bachelors degree, Associate degree, or Paralegal Certification
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Benefits/Compensation:
- Annual salary of $75,000 - $120,000, based on experience
