SENIOR MANAGING DIRECTOR - FIA

Major Duties:
- The Sr. Managing Director plans and directs all activities for the Central region Foundation and Institutional Advisors practice which focuses on nonprofit and ERISA OCIO business. Communicates overall strategy to reporting managers and employees.
- Upholds corporate policies and procedures. Develops objectives and strategic plans for location or market that meet Business Unit and Corporate objectives. Directs activities of office or location toward accomplishing those objectives.
- Oversees development and monitoring of financial planning, and pricing of products and services. Responsible for capital and expense budget.
- Oversees client interactions and communications. Monitors retention of current clients and broadening of relationships. May address specific sensitive or complex client needs.
- Identifies and researches potential for community or market expansion. Develops sales goals for new business. Oversees communication strategies and identification of prospective clients/business. Participates in sales presentations. Investigates strategic opportunities for acquisition or expansion.
Knowledge:
- Leadership and organizational skills to determine goals, resource needs, and to assess and develop the skills of staff. Capable to direct the activities for multiple units.
- Knowledge of business strategy development provide long term planning and to manage the profitability/performance of a major business segment.
- Deep and specific expertise in the nonprofit OCIO segment.
- Externally focused with experience in networking and driving growth.
Experience:
- Developing a sales and marketing strategy to expand the client footprint across the Midwest.
- Leading a dynamic and talented team of 25 investment, asset servicing and sales professionals.
- Completion of any of the following educational and/or professional designations strongly preferred: MBA, CFA, CFP, CIMA, CPWA, CAIA.
- A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is required/preferred.
