Senior Manager
This role leads a team (or teams) that supports and manages insurance product performance in the market by leveraging analysis and insights across a variety of internal and external sources to conduct root cause analysis. You will research solutions that inform recommended actions to improve profitability, growth, and customer experience in support of annual profit and growth plans. Additionally, you will monitor, support, and adjust actions and initiatives related to top and bottom-line aspects of product performance in market(s). This position creates insights from intelligence about customers, markets, and competitors for problem-solving and proactively monitoring trends in the market.
Position Compensation Range:
$125,000.00 - $212,000.00

Primary Accountabilities
- Creates a collaborative, performance-driven work environment by facilitating and fostering trust, transparency, and inclusion. Works with team members to set clear goals, provide feedback, perform performance assessments, and support ongoing development.
- Leads with influence and expertise. Actively contributes to division or department leadership team. Communicates and supports organization mission, vision, values, policies, and practices.
- Leads with a continuous improvement approach and recommends actions to improve premium volume growth and profitability.
- Leads implementation of product development or product management changes, including other corporate stakeholders for opportunity identification, enterprise service linkage, vendor management, and research.
- Oversees product research and insights gathering and analysis, including competitive intelligence, customer empathy, develop pricing models and analysis, and innovation methodology.
- Manages the analysis of business results, external market dynamics, and other data sources to assess trends and develop actionable insights and recommendations to address business issues.
- Works with business partners to identify and scope new opportunities for reporting and financial analysis applications to evaluate business performance and to support business decisions.
- Responsible for communication and delivery of reporting and financial model results to business partners, supporting socialization and adoption of analysis results into business activities and decisions.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
- Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service.
- PNC Insurance industry experience and product knowledge is required.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing and interpreting facts and data, including financial information, in a way that can lead to actionable conclusions.
- Demonstrated experience communicating to a variety of audiences to review findings, arguments, options, risks, benefits, and other issues in a frame of reference that the audience can understand.
- Demonstrated experience in driving to results in one or more of the following areas: sales, product lines, claims, or other core business functions.
- Demonstrated experience managing and leading large complex projects or programs with a cross-divisional impact toward intended results.
- Demonstrated effective experience leading people or projects.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of root cause analysis and processes.
- Demonstrated experience developing insurance product strategies.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in product management and/or development with a focus on profit and loss.
- Solid knowledge of market research and marketplace and regulatory trends.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of product design and product management.
- Solid knowledge of and experience with advanced financial and data analysis techniques.

In this flex office/home role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from one of the following office locations: Madison, WI 53783; Boston, MA 02110; Denver, CO 80112; Eden Prairie, MN 55343; Keene, NH 03431; St. Joseph, MO 64507; Phoenix, AZ 85034. Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the office location (or 35-mile radius for Boston).
