Your Team, Your Impact

The Global Senior Director of Indirect Procurement will lead and develop Marvell's global indirect procurement strategy, focusing on optimizing and standardizing procurement policies, sourcing processes, supplier relationships, supplier management, and cost savings for non-product-related services and goods. This role will oversee global procurement activities across categories such as IT, Capex, CAD/EDA tools, HR, Marketing, Facilities, Professional Services, and Logistics, ensuring alignment with business goals, operational efficiency, and budget targets.

The Senior Director will work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and executive leadership, leveraging industry best practices to deliver strategic sourcing solutions, improve supplier relationships, and drive long-term value for Marvell.

What You Can Expect

  • Develop and maintain global procurement policies and processes.
  • Oversee procurement of indirect spend categories including, but not limited to, IT, Capex, CAD/EDA tools, HR, Marketing, Facilities, Professional Services, and Logistics.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing global indirect procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, knowledge sharing, and innovation.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive indirect procurement strategy to meet the company's cost, quality, and efficiency objectives.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers, driving performance improvements and fostering innovation.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, business unit leaders, and executives to become a valued partner and trusted advisor, cementing the strategic value of Procurement within the organization.
  • Be responsible for a strong annual savings target and team with FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) team to track spend targets; participate in the annual budget process.
  • Ensure current value targets are captured and continuously develop and excel at stretch targets year after year.
  • Lead global sourcing, negotiation, and contract management processes to ensure favorable terms, risk mitigation, and compliance.
  • Track and report on cost savings, supplier performance, and procurement metrics to executive leadership.
  • Analyze and optimize indirect spend data, identifying areas of cost reduction, process improvement, and value creation.
  • Participate actively to improve Marvell's Source to Pay Processes, Policies, Automation, Sustainability, Supplier Diversity, and 3rd party Risk goals.
  • Implement tools and technologies to enhance procurement processes, improve transparency, and drive efficiencies.
  • Develop and implement the overall logistics negotiations in alignment with business goals.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of corporate-level strategic sourcing experience in a global company, with a focus on indirect procurement.
  • 7+ years of leadership experience in a senior procurement role in a global company, building and coaching multi-cultural expert teams.
  • Proven track record of driving cost savings and process improvements in a large, global, complex organization.
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement technologies and tools (e.g., e-sourcing, spend analytics).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in change management and implementing procurement transformation initiatives is a plus.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

173,730 - 260,300, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
