Role: Business Analyst
Location: Cambridge, MA (onsite 5 days)
Summary: Apex Systems is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to support to systems analysis and implementation for a new Smart Building facility.
Requirements:
•Requirement Gathering: Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from various stakeholders. Translate business needs into functional specifications for IT systems and solutions.
•Systems Analysis and Design: Analyze current technology systems to identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with IT professionals to design new IT solutions, modify, enhance, or adapt existing systems and integrate new features or improvements.
•Quality Assurance: Work with the QA team to ensure that the end products meet business requirements. Define and execute test scenarios and test scripts.
•Change Management: Support change management initiatives, ensuring that changes to IT systems are smoothly implemented and stakeholder expectations are managed.
•User Training and Support: Provide support and training to users of new systems and for enhancements to existing systems.
•Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data to help inform decision-making and produce reports as required by the business. Ensure the integrity and security of business data.
•Communication: Serve as a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders. Communicate complex concepts to non-technical team members.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
•Experience with Agile methodology
•Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst or similar role.
•Strong understanding of business processes and how they can be implemented into IT systems.
•Technical skills in system design and analysis, familiarity with programming languages, databases, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
•Proficiency in documenting requirements, specifications, and user manuals.
•Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry and its regulations is beneficial.
