Position Overview
The Head of Growth will own the full cycle of growth strategy, overseeing both marketing and sales efforts to generate $4M in new revenue by 2025. This role involves both strategic leadership and day-to-day tactical execution, with responsibility for managing and expanding the Growth team. This position will also face the unique challenge of building Mabbly’s first dedicated Growth studio, ensuring the right people and strategies are in place to scale efficiently.
This Head of Growth will play a key role in driving MQL (Marketing Qualified Lead) and SQL (Sales Qualified Lead) generation, with a focus on achieving ambitious growth targets. Regularly testing and optimizing lead generation tactics, improving lead quality, and reducing acquisition costs will be central to ensuring sustained success and scalability.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and own the growth strategy, targeting $4M in new revenue for 2025
- Oversee marketing and sales teams, driving inbound and outbound strategies across channels (SEO, paid media, email, etc.)
- Build and scale a high-performing marketing and sales team
- Collaborate with Operations and Sales to optimize service offerings, pricing, and lead quality, ensuring smooth transitions from MQL to SQL, and beyond
- Develop comprehensive dashboards and reports to track key growth metrics, including MQLs, SQLs, customer acquisition costs, and lifetime value
Tactical Execution:
- Execute strategies to maximize MQL and SQL generation across multiple channels, including SEO, paid media, email marketing, and outbound efforts
- Optimize campaigns through A/B testing, audience segmentation, and real-time performance analysis
- Implement lead generation strategies that focus on both quality and volume, ensuring a robust pipeline of leads for the sales team
- Work closely with Sales to monitor SQL conversions and refine lead hand-off processes
- Regularly report on lead quality, cost per MQL/SQL, and overall campaign performance
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Align goals and processes with Marketing, Sales, and Operations to ensure smooth execution of campaigns and conversions
- Provide feedback on services based on market trends, sales insights, and customer experiences to refine offerings and pricing
- Join initial calls with leads to qualify them as SQLs, and work closely with Sales and Operations to convert qualified leads into long-term clients
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in a digital marketing agency, with a strong track record in selling services like branding, strategy, website/software development, and digital marketing (SEO, PPC)
- Proficiency with marketing automation and CRM systems, preferably HubSpot
- Expertise with tools such as, Google Analytics, paid advertising platforms, and marketing automation systems
- Experience leading both strategic and tactical growth initiatives, resulting in significant revenue growth
- Strong knowledge of SEO, PPC, email marketing, and paid social media, with proven ability to drive high-quality leads
- Experience working with REST APIs and an understanding of architectural patterns like entity service bus and microservices.
- Experience with inbound and outbound lead generation
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proven experience achieving ambitious goals and scaling marketing and sales efforts
- Must be hands-on, data-driven, and adept at making tactical adjustments to improve performance
