Position Summary:
We seek an experienced and strategic Director of Product Marketing to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role, you will lead our Acute Care and Ambulatory Care product marketing efforts, focusing on driving growth and differentiation for Rhapsody health solutions. You will be responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies, creating compelling and differentiated messaging, and ensuring our products meet the evolving needs of our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), such as CIOs and Technical Leaders in healthcare organizations.
The Director of Product Marketing will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Sales Enablement, and Content, to drive pipeline creation, accelerate sales cycles, and maximize market impact. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep healthcare market expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate complex product capabilities into customer-centric narratives that resonate with target audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Go-to-Market Strategies: Lead the creation and implementation of go-to-market strategies for Rhapsody health solutions, tailored to specific Acute Care and Ambulatory Care market segments.
- Positioning and Messaging: Define and articulate compelling, value-based, customer-centered positioning and messaging based on competitive and market analysis.
- Sales Enablement: Collaborate with Sales Enablement to develop tools, training, and content that empower the sales team to effectively market and sell Rhapsody solutions, including data sheets, product videos, presentations, and other materials.
- Product Launches: Lead all aspects of product launch activities, including the commercialization checklist, and drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful product introductions.
- Market Insights and Feedback: Serve as the voice of the customer by gathering and analyzing market feedback, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to inform product strategy and development.
- Win/Loss Analysis: Conduct win/loss analysis to understand key buying criteria, refine messaging, and optimize go-to-market strategies.
- Pricing Strategy: Own and manage pricing strategy and communication for targeted segments, ensuring alignment with market demand and competitive positioning.
- Demand Generation Support: Work with growth and content teams to create campaigns, collateral, white papers, thought leadership content, videos, blogs, and other materials that drive awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, industry analysts, and partners to increase market visibility and influence.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and adjust strategies to maximize impact.
Requirements and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in product marketing, strategic marketing, or related roles, ideally within the B2B tech or health tech sector.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful go-to-market strategies and drive measurable results.
- Proven track record in leading product launches and building effective sales enablement programs.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data to inform strategic decision-making.
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and convey value propositions clearly.
- Experience managing pricing strategies and working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including sales, product, and industry influencers.
- A self-starter with a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Title will be determined based on experience.
- Proficiency in market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation.
