Full Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. Define the Marketing strategy in the US to support and deliver the business objectives.
  2. Define the segmentation, target audience, product positioning, and customize Sales and Marketing presentations to drive sales.
  3. Develop marketing materials and drive activation to meet the business objectives in terms of volume, revenue, and brand preference.
  4. Reinforce brand and product messaging in solar conferences.
  5. Develop the annual marketing budget, guide the shape-of-spend, and track implementation of the marketing activities.
  6. Refine quarterly to align with market requirements.
  7. Cultivate local media contacts (at minimum 3 local media in each key country) to reinforce brand messaging in the local markets.
  8. Identify and evaluate local marketing events to support sales and the company’s business plan in the local countries.
  9. Assist in the execution of large-scale exhibitions and events in the US.
  10. Interface with local solar associations and industry forums to obtain professional knowledge for business opportunities.
  11. Co-Marketing of US Distribution channels.
  12. Work closely with US Sales and Product Solutions teams to develop the co-marketing plan and execute the activities with US distribution customers to deliver the annual business and revenue targets.
  13. Ensure all co-marketing activities are aligned to brand guidelines, messaging, and agreed budget.
  14. Conduct regular contacts and customer face-to-face visits (at minimum once every quarter) to understand customer marketing requirements, establish long-term partnerships, and refine the marketing plans.
  15. Establish efficient work processes and communications with Marketing team members and Product Management teams.
  16. Develop market opportunities through identifying, understanding, and reaching target customers.
  17. Continually update Market Strategy and competitive actions through understanding of market intelligence and actively implement marketing actions: Product, Price, Distribution, Promotions.
  18. Prepare quarterly business review reports and presentations to Management.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in related field.
  2. Minimum 8 years of previous experience with similar marketing development roles in solar business.
  3. Understand USA’s PV market dynamics and industry trends.
  4. Solid understanding of the silicon, solar, storage, and energy industries.
  5. Able to travel and represent the company at industry events around the world.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external partners.
  7. Organized and able to prioritize and manage competing project priorities and deadlines.
  8. Marketing management experience and capable of working with a diversified team with different cultures and in multiple locations.
  9. Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicts and ambiguities.
  10. Highly organized and fluent with O365.
  11. Strong program management skills a plus.
