Responsibilities:
- Define the Marketing strategy in the US to support and deliver the business objectives.
- Define the segmentation, target audience, product positioning, and customize Sales and Marketing presentations to drive sales.
- Develop marketing materials and drive activation to meet the business objectives in terms of volume, revenue, and brand preference.
- Reinforce brand and product messaging in solar conferences.
- Develop the annual marketing budget, guide the shape-of-spend, and track implementation of the marketing activities.
- Refine quarterly to align with market requirements.
- Cultivate local media contacts (at minimum 3 local media in each key country) to reinforce brand messaging in the local markets.
- Identify and evaluate local marketing events to support sales and the company’s business plan in the local countries.
- Assist in the execution of large-scale exhibitions and events in the US.
- Interface with local solar associations and industry forums to obtain professional knowledge for business opportunities.
- Co-Marketing of US Distribution channels.
- Work closely with US Sales and Product Solutions teams to develop the co-marketing plan and execute the activities with US distribution customers to deliver the annual business and revenue targets.
- Ensure all co-marketing activities are aligned to brand guidelines, messaging, and agreed budget.
- Conduct regular contacts and customer face-to-face visits (at minimum once every quarter) to understand customer marketing requirements, establish long-term partnerships, and refine the marketing plans.
- Establish efficient work processes and communications with Marketing team members and Product Management teams.
- Develop market opportunities through identifying, understanding, and reaching target customers.
- Continually update Market Strategy and competitive actions through understanding of market intelligence and actively implement marketing actions: Product, Price, Distribution, Promotions.
- Prepare quarterly business review reports and presentations to Management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in related field.
- Minimum 8 years of previous experience with similar marketing development roles in solar business.
- Understand USA’s PV market dynamics and industry trends.
- Solid understanding of the silicon, solar, storage, and energy industries.
- Able to travel and represent the company at industry events around the world.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external partners.
- Organized and able to prioritize and manage competing project priorities and deadlines.
- Marketing management experience and capable of working with a diversified team with different cultures and in multiple locations.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicts and ambiguities.
- Highly organized and fluent with O365.
- Strong program management skills a plus.
