Pulmonary Associates of Stamford, Stamford, CT, United States

Pulmonary Associates of Stamford is one of the leading groups in Connecticut practicing a blend of hospital/office-based pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine. We are currently looking for a new associate with pulmonary, critical care, and ideally sleep training to join our practice.

  1. Our group offers the full range of pulmonary, critical care, sleep, and allergy services. We staff a high-intensity critical care unit with a dedicated intensivist program and are the sole providers of an inpatient pulmonary consultation service at our affiliated hospital. We have a large outpatient pulmonary practice with an active clinical trials program, pulmonary rehabilitation program, and interventional bronchoscopy service.
  2. Our sleep center is a 4-bed facility that is nationally accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. We care for children as well as adults and treat a wide array of sleep disorders. We are averaging 2000 sleep tests a year. Currently, two members of our group are board-certified in Sleep Medicine.
  3. Our eight physicians were all trained at excellent institutions including Cornell, Duke, Boston University, Mount Sinai, Harvard, Tufts, and the University of Pennsylvania. All members of our group are board-certified in internal medicine, pulmonary diseases, and critical care medicine. Additionally, some members are board-certified in Sleep Medicine, Allergy/Immunology, Hospice/Palliative Care Medicine, Interventional Pulmonary, and Pediatrics.

Stamford Hospital is a major teaching hospital for Columbia University and Quinnipiac University and boasts in-house residency training programs in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Surgery, and OB-GYN. Our members are all actively involved in medical student and graduate medical education. Opportunity is available for faculty appointment.

The position is a partnership track opportunity with 1/9+ call. Vacation / CME time begins at 6 weeks and each year there is an additional week added until you have 9 weeks! Our work week is 4½ days long. The Stamford area is on the Long Island Sound, 50 minutes from N.Y.C. and is an excellent place to live and raise a family.
