Who We Are: Our team, the Cloud Services team within the Information Technology Center, is responsible for Azure cloud services, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 for the Enterprise. The team provides support and implementation services to support the needs of the Institute. Objectives of this Role: Manage and maintain the Exchange Online environment in the Microsoft 365 GCC High cloud. This will include user mailboxes, distribution groups, policies, and permissions. Support and maintenance of email clients used on multiple platforms to include Windows, Linux, and mobile devices. Support and maintenance of email technologies in use by the organization including Spam filtering services like Proofpoint, and mail encryption. Provide support in an enterprise environment managing Active Directory, and Active Directory Federated Services. Responsibilities include provisioning and managing user and computer objects, troubleshooting Windows technologies, and managing AD FS claims-based authentication. Work both independently and collaboratively within a team to suggest, develop, and implement new process and procedural improvements. Daily and Monthly Responsibilities: Maintaining existing Microsoft Windows and Exchange technologies in use and other 3rd party Windows/email applications. Support user requests for email services and email client software on multiple platforms to include Windows, Linux, and mobile devices. Configure, deploy, and maintain mailboxes, distribution groups, and shared calendars. Perform daily monitoring of Exchange Online services and resolve any issues related to mail flow, permissions, access, or performance. Manage and maintain Proofpoint email security solutions to ensure optimal performance and protection. Requirements: Requires a Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related degree field with relevant experience. 5 years of professional level experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelors degree. 1 years: Microsoft Windows Server administration in support of Microsoft services in an enterprise environment. 1 years: Managing a Microsoft Exchange server hybrid environment at an enterprise level. Working knowledge of Microsoft Exchange online, Microsoft 365, and Azure preferred. 1 years: Working knowledge of mail protocols to include SMTP, and SPF. Other protocols like DMARC, DKIM a plus. Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting for Exchange Online a plus. Technical Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) and/or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) VMWare certification are a plus. A valid/clear driver's license is required.
