POSITION OBJECTIVE We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Structural Steel Project Manager to lead our projects with expertise and precision. POSITION KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Estimating: Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for structural steel projects. Analyze drawings, specifications, and documentation to develop comprehensive bids. Create detailed material, labor, and equipment cost estimates. Project Management: Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of structural steel construction projects. Ensure projects are timely, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Work closely with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to meet project specifications. Field Experience: Provide hands-on leadership and supervision on construction sites. Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during construction. Ensure all work meets relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations. Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing concerns and ensuring project satisfaction. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct post-project evaluations to identify and implement areas for improvement. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural steel and miscellaneous steel estimating, field operations, and project management. Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale, complex construction projects from pre-construction to completion. Proficiency in construction estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Tekla, or equivalent) and project management tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project). In-depth knowledge of structural steel design, fabrication, and erection processes, as well as applicable building codes and safety standards. Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
