Associate Scientist / Analytical Chemist

Title: Associate Scientist Contract: 1 Year Location: Cambridge, MA - 02142 Shift: Monday-Friday | 8:00am-5:00pm Job Description The Associate Scientist in In-Process Analytics is expected to execute scientific studies in support of technical programs as they progress from early development into Phase I/II and Phase III. The appointee will work in the In-process Analytics (IPA) team, within the Drug Substance - Technical R&D unit Job Responsibilities • Executing routine characterization assays of Drug Substance including analytical HPLC and plate based assays Education & Qualifications BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • Scientific degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biotechnology or a related field • Previous Industry or laboratory experience • Hands on Experience with analytical HPLC or plate based assays • Fluent Spoken/Written English PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Experience with industry standard high throughput screening and automation technologies • Understanding of polysaccharide chemistry • Understanding of protein biochemistry • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment and communicate effectively SKILLS • Demonstrates critical, analytical, and synthetic abilities. • Capable of managing time efficiently to meet short-term targets. • Exhibits a collaborative and adaptable approach to working under pressure and time constraints. • Actively seeks feedback on performance to drive continuous improvement. • Strong scientific writing skills to convey complex information clearly and concisely in regulatory documents. • Ensures coherence between contributions, ensuring the quality of final results.
