Who we are looking for

The Alpha Head of Account Management Implementation and Strategy, Managing Director role is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of the Account Service model. This global business lead is responsible for managing an effective business across senior leadership within Global Delivery, Global Sales, Global Client Management, Alpha organizations, and Vendor interaction.

What you will be responsible for

As Alpha Head of Account Management Implementation and Strategy, your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide thought leadership across the organization in the strategic development of the Alpha Account Management Service.
  • Drive product strategy/roadmap and understand/analyze impact to Alpha Account Management strategy to the larger Alpha Platform strategy.
  • Define, articulate and help enforce a standard operating model with our clients.
  • Deliver and implement clients onto the Account Management service in line with contract obligations.
  • Coordinate across STT senior stakeholders to develop, implement, and deliver a scalable global operating model.
  • Assist global Sales teams with the expanding Alpha Middle Office opportunities. Work with senior management to target future Alpha Account Management opportunities to maintain STT’s position as the largest global Middle Office Provider.
  • Support global Implementation teams with onboarding Alpha Middle Office Outsourcing assignments.
  • Ensure Alpha MO best practices/standards are onboarded across the model to ensure and maintain scalability, LOI/SLA documentation, etc.
  • Streamline the onboarding processes to achieve revenues faster.
  • Work with Global Delivery/Operations leadership teams to establish a scalable multi-client operating model and global footprint strategy for Alpha Middle Office Outsourcing.
  • Assist with the redesign of the existing Alpha support teams to prepare for expected growth in this business line.
  • Develop a quasi-multi tenant global support team to more easily accommodate additional clients onto the model.
  • Establish a seamless and scalable global pass-the-book - multi-client support model.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration and innovation across technology, integration, product, risk, sales, marketing, compliance, legal, and finance teams.
  • Build and maintain close relationships with clients and partners while representing the Alpha Middle Office Outsourcing Model in client and market facing interactions.
  • Serve as an evangelist of the Alpha Middle Office Outsourcing Model, both internally and externally, to drive awareness, adoption, successful partnerships and new business.
  • Meet all requirements for the performance planning process including goal setting, regular and immediate feedback and submission of formalized performance appraisals.
  • Provide support for and effectively communicate broad overall company initiatives and goals to managers and staff within span of control.
  • Responsible for developing budget and staffing projections.

  • Adept at managing multiple projects/initiatives (strong attention to detail and the ability to handle several tasks simultaneously).

  • Great liaison skills with customers and all levels of internal staff. Proven people manager.
  • A natural leader and motivator.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • 15+ years in financial services, either in front office, middle office, capital markets, trading, operations and/or client service.
  • Proven change management abilities delivering successful outcomes on transformation initiatives.
  • Significant understanding of Alpha Enterprise.
  • Experience in developing, implementing Alpha and/or relative middle office services.
  • Proven track record in driving innovative products from ideation through design and development (preferably within large, complex organizations), inclusive of commercial considerations.
  • Experience working with asset management, asset owner, insurance company clients.
  • Excellent presentation, communications, collaboration and influencing skills.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with internal and external partners and stakeholders.
  • Up to 25% travel required for both internal management and client purposes.
  • MBA and/or CFA are a plus.

Salary Range:

$170,000 - $267,500 Annual.

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
