Patent Attorney / Agent - Remote Opportunity

IP RECRUITER GROUP is recruiting for the following opportunity:

We are looking for a Patent Attorney or Patent Agent to work remotely. Your responsibilities will depend on your legal experience and/or technical background, including:

1. Preparation and prosecution of US patents
2. Strategic portfolio counseling
3. Patent opinions (validity, infringement, right to use, patentability)
4. Possible PTAB, licensing, and trademark work

Depending on your technical background, you may deal with:

• Electrical engineering (industrial and consumer electronics hardware, analog and/or digital circuits, RF, semiconductors)
• Computer and telecommunications systems (networking and protocols, WiFi)
• Software engineering (network security, enterprise applications, databases, web and cloud services, operating systems, software user interfaces, open source)

This is an excellent opportunity within a progressive firm, offering comprehensive client interaction and a well-distributed client base, including a broad spectrum of large and small clients. The firm provides premiere work with a talented group of peers, flexible hours, client origination incentives, production incentives, and more. An existing book is not required, but if you have portables, that would certainly be valued.

Requirements:

• Minimum BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
• Patent Bar (and any State Bar for an associate) are required
• An M.S. or higher is valued, along with prior applicable engineering product development experience
• At least 3-4 years of solid US patent preparation and prosecution experience in electrical engineering, computer engineering, and/or software arts
