Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to work as Passes’ Head of Communications. This individual will be responsible for leading our public relations, external communications, and internal communications efforts. The Head of Communications will play a key role in shaping Passes’ voice, promoting our brand, ensuring effective communication with various stakeholders, and driving our communications strategy to support our business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Public Relations (PR) and Media Relations:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive PR strategy to enhance the company’s reputation and visibility.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with reporters, journalists, and media outlets.
- Act as the primary spokesperson for the company, handling media inquiries and interviews.
- Craft press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.
- Monitor media coverage and manage crisis communications as needed.
- External Communications:
- Develop and manage the company’s external communications strategy, including the creation and distribution of blog posts, articles, and other content.
- Oversee the company’s social media presence, ensuring consistent and engaging messaging.
- Collaborate with product, marketing and other departments to align messaging and GTM/promotional efforts.
- Internal Communications:
- Develop and implement internal communications strategies to ensure effective information flow within the company.
- Create and manage internal newsletters, announcements, and other communications materials.
- Foster a positive and inclusive company culture through transparent and consistent communication.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a customer success, account management, or similar function.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
- Experience in building and managing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with creators and internal stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and executing successful growth strategies.
- Passion for the creator economy and supporting the success of creators.
- Nice to have: proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Tableau, SQL)
