JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX Entertainment is looking for a Coordinator, Business and Legal Affairs! In this exciting position, the Coordinator, Business and Legal Affairs will be an independent thinker who is eager to take ownership of a variety of assigned projects, and someone who is a self-starter who can identify areas of need and propose meaningful solutions for consideration. The Business & Legal Affairs team is leanly staffed and in need of a candidate who can thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Drafting and administrative experience in a studio environment are also key skills for the top candidate.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Draft, edit/redline, and proofread a wide variety of standard legal documents as directed by the team.
  • Assist with internal clearance review process.
  • Assist with the management and tracking of contractual terms and obligations, and track option/positioning windows.
  • Assist with research, compiling information, and ad hoc projects as needed.
  • Summarize key deal terms for internal review and circulation.
  • Basic contract administration, including electronic file organization, coordinating the execution, and distribution of executed contracts internally and externally and updating any applicable charts/reports.
  • Act as internal and external point of contact for a variety of business and legal affairs questions.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and interact with employees at all levels.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 3-5 years of Entertainment business and legal affairs experience.
  • Attention to detail and strong organization skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities concurrently, meet tight deadlines and pivot quickly.
  • Curiosity and willingness to tackle matters outside area of expertise.
  • Adaptable and open to new ideas and processes.
  • Proficiency in Mac, G-Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat and DocuSign.

  • Animation experience.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $22.25-29.50 per hour for California. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
