IPS manufactures its products locally and has been delivering world-class solutions to the telecommunications and parking industries for over 25 years. The company is best known for their patented credit card enabled, solar powered single-space parking meter and web-based management system.


Job Summary: The Sales Ops Director will lead the sales operations team, driving efficiency and effectiveness across the sales organization. This role will focus on strategic planning, process optimization, analytics, and team management to support the sales team in achieving its revenue goals.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the sales leadership team to develop and implement sales strategies that align with company goals.
  2. Process Optimization: Identify, design, and implement sales processes to streamline operations, improve sales productivity, and enhance customer experience.
  3. Analytics and Reporting: Develop and maintain sales metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools to provide insights into sales performance and support data-driven decision-making. Support Sales leader with Board meeting prep and materials.
  4. Sales Enablement: Partner with marketing and training teams to ensure the sales team is equipped with the right tools, resources, and training to succeed. Help drive lead generation activity and ROI on Marketing investments.
  5. CRM Management: Oversee the management and optimization of the CRM system to ensure accurate tracking of leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
  6. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  7. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as finance, marketing, and customer success to ensure alignment and support overall business objectives.
  8. Budget Management: Assist in budget planning and forecasting for the sales organization, monitoring expenditure and ROI on sales initiatives.
  9. Pipeline Management: Manage pipeline coverage identifying any gaps giving necessary and actionable input/insights.
  10. Commissions Management: Help with design of commissions plans. Manage the commission calculations for submission and approvals as well as reporting to participants.

Qualification and Skills:

  1. Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and reporting tools.
  2. Understanding of Technology sales models including recurring revenue (SaaS) is desirable.
  3. Proficiency in CRM systems and other sales enablement tools.
  4. Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  5. Proven history of improving sales processes and driving performance metrics.
  6. Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Education and Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  2. 7+ years of experience in sales operations or related roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
