As part of the backbone of Alipes’ management team, the Head of Strategy & Impact plays a leadership role in client relationship management, business strategy, and team management. On a day-to-day basis, you will collaborate with peers in Technology and Creative to define scope, establish resource requirements, set the strategic direction, and create the framework for success on client programs and projects.
Specifically, you are responsible for:
- Setting and leading digital strategy across all client accounts and internal teams
- Assessing the role of strategy within the agency and helping to evolve us to best serve our current and future clients
- Overseeing healthy client programs and accounts
- Engaging with senior clients, providing deeper insights into the dynamics of their business
- Managing project and program execution
- Creating strategic and tactical plans for both existing and new business opportunities
- Dreaming of new product ideas
- Drafting and implementing proposals and SOWs
- Motivating and mentoring junior staff
- Managing Alipes strategy team workflows
- Helping ensure the delivery of consistently timely and high-quality results for clients
- Providing insight and fresh thinking about both client programs and internal processes, with an eye to continuous improvement and excellence
- Leading client strategy and discovery sessions
- Educating the team about key trends and new ideas for digital strategy
- Collaborating with senior leadership to define, live, and communicate Alipes’ culture and positive workplace environment
- Providing ideas and directional execution on new business initiatives and company growth strategies

- Media and technology production (traditional and digital)
- Public relations and public affairs
- Social media
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of digital and agency experience
- Exceptional client management and communication skills
- Clear, strong communicator who is capable of building trust and confidence among clients and agency peers
- Compelling written and verbal presentation skills and style
- Ability to simplify and convey complex scenarios
- Aptitude to communicate and present in a manner that inspires and rallies others around the strategic vision and opportunity
- Expertise in digital strategy, including content strategy and tactical implementation of recommended approaches
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams (social media, technology, creative, etc.) and leading professional development for staff
- Ability to understand technology trends to use for productization ideas
- Have and act on a solid understanding of core technologies related to the development of digital assets, as well as a willingness to keep learning as technology evolves.
- Ability to create and manage integrated and standalone digital marketing plans/projects, budgets, and timelines
- Ability to be an inspirational presenter, with great storytelling and pitching capabilities, knowing how to read the room
- Ability to independently own programs/campaigns from concept through to execution and results measurement across several client accounts
- Ability to synthesize data and insights into strategic vision for the agency and our clients
- Excellent leadership and presentation skills
- Collaborative and proactive mindset
- Ability to work with anyone, internally and externally, and create a culture of collaboration and creativity
- Ability to identify and bring into the pipeline new business opportunities (including the growth of existing accounts) in partnership with Alipes new business development lead
- Being nimble, thoughtful, curious, and bold
- Bachelor’s Degree; Master’s preferred
