Mendocino Farms is seeking a dynamic and visionary Vice President of Supply Chain to optimize our supply chain processes. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for operational efficiency and sustainable sourcing practices. Reporting directly to the COO, the VP of Supply Chain will play a crucial role in driving our brand's continued success and growth.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the supply chain, including vendor selection, contract negotiations, inventory management, and distribution logistics.
- Optimize procurement processes to minimize costs while maximizing quality and sustainability.
- Develop and implement efficient supply chain processes and systems to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and improve profitability.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
- Champion sustainability initiatives across the supply chain functions, prioritizing environmentally responsible practices, waste reduction efforts, and ethical sourcing partnerships.
- Develop and execute long-term strategic plans for supply chain management, aligning with company goals and objectives.
- Identify growth, expansion, and market differentiation opportunities through operational excellence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain management, preferably within the fast-casual or restaurant industry.
- Proven track record of success in supply chain dynamics, vendor management, and procurement best practices.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams at all levels of the organization.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to drive change and innovation.
- Passion for sustainability and operational excellence.
- Deep understanding of supply chain management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities tailored to supply chain industry challenges.
