Our client, in Concord, MA is seeking a Quality Lead to join their team to oversee and facilitate systems implementations in conjunction with their move to a new ERP system.

Job Title: Quality Lead

Location: Concord, MA

Pay Range: $89.44 Hourly

Schedule: Mon-Fri / 8am-4pm

What’s the Job?

1. Lead the project of upgrading our Food Safety & Quality systems in support of the broader ERP implementation.
2. Understand the food safety/regulatory environment and corporate programs to develop solutions that balance cost and risk and make the right business sense for the company.
3. Collect and represent critical requirements for these systems assuring they meet operational and FSQ needs, including the support of external audit compliance (SQF / customer / regulatory).
4. Lead customization, implementation, and training of these solutions, meeting timelines and budget.
5. Troubleshoot any issues and assure sustainable use of systems with demonstrated benefits quantified.

What’s Needed?

1. B.S. required in Food Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Microbiology or related science.
2. 5-8 years combined experience in Corporate Food Safety or Quality Assurance, Plant Quality Assurance, and Plant Operations.
3. Knowledge of HACCP, PCQI, GFSI certification, FSMA and Food Defense in branded food products industry.
4. Comprehensive understanding of plant operations as it relates to food safety and quality with experience in plant quality and food safety management.
5. Ability to travel 10 - 15%.
