Sr. Product Manager-Data Center GPU

AMD's Data Center GPU organization is transforming the industry with our AI based Graphic Processors. Our primary objective is to design exceptional products that drive the evolution of computing experiences, serving as the cornerstone for enterprise Data Centers, (AI) Artificial Intelligence, HPC and Embedded systems. The Role:
We're seeking an experienced Sr. Product Manager to lead our Data Center GPU product line, focusing on developing and executing product strategy for high-performance computing and AI/ML workloads.
The Person:
The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with business acumen to drive product development from conception to market success. Excellence in stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership and strong analytical and quantitative skills with data-driven decision-making skills. The candidate will have outstanding written and verbal communication abilities and partner across the organization internally and with customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product roadmap for data center GPU solutions, aligning with market demands and company strategy.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define product specifications, features, and technical requirements.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats in the data center GPU space.
- Partner with key customers and cloud service providers to understand evolving needs in AI/ML, and HPC.
- Define pricing strategies and work with sales teams to maximize product revenue and market share.
- Create detailed product requirements documents (PRDs) and technical specifications.
- Manage product lifecycle from conception through end-of-life.
- Work with marketing to develop positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
- Analyze market trends in AI/ML, cloud computing, and high-performance computing.
- Present product strategy to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with CUDA, ROCm, or other GPU computing platforms.
- Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).
- Solid years of product management experience in hardware or semiconductor industry.
- Strong understanding of GPU architecture, AI/ML workloads, and data center infrastructure.
- Experience with product lifecycle management in B2B technology markets.
- Proven track record of successful product launches in enterprise or data center markets
Academic Credentials:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
Locations:
- Santa Clara or Austin, TX preferred
