Job DescriptionAs Carpenter Fabricator with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you'll support a sign manufacturing company in the production and manufacturing of signs. Set up and operate machines used in forming signs and components from flat plastic sheets. Learn more at https://skilled.peopleready.com/referral/ .Responsibilities: Measure and cut raw materials using power saws. Load materials into forming machines, set timers, and operate controls. Observe machines and equipment to ensure proper operation. Move controls to activate and adjust forming machines. Clean and maintain forming machines, using hand tools. Build, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers using power and hand tools Seal containers using glues, fasteners, nails, pneumatic tools to ensure structural integrity. Qualifications: Basic Carpentry skills Make accurate and square cuts Understand basic math Be physically able to handle large and bulky materials in a hot environment (working under heat) Experience with power tools Ability to read and interpret blue prints and/or construction drawings. Effectively communicate in both written and verbal formats. High attention to detail.
