Civil Trial Defense Litigation Attorney

A defense personal injury law firm based in Chatsworth, CA, is seeking an experienced litigation attorney with 5+ years of experience to join our team, preferably with trial experience. Strong opportunity for growth and development.

Responsibilities:

1. Represent clients in court or before government agencies.
2. Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients.
3. Comply with all legal standards and regulations.
4. Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.
5. Handle cases including responding to discovery, attending depositions, and trying cases.

Qualifications:

1. JD degree from an excellent, ABA-approved law school.
2. Active member in good standing with the California State Bar.
3. Litigation experience.
4. Strong experience with motion practice, discovery, conducting depositions, making court appearances, and trial preparation.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
