We’ll look for you to bring your diverse perspectives, ideas, and skill-sets to make Prime Video even better for our customers. The Prime Video Personalization & Discovery team is seeking a Principal Product Manager Tech to help deliver superior experiences to Prime Video customers worldwide. You will own a substantial portion of the product strategy and vision, and develop product roadmaps to execute on that vision. This role is inherently cross-functional; you will work closely with engineering, project management, design, operations, finance, legal, business development, customer service, content acquisition, and executive teams to optimize the Prime Video Personalization & Discovery customer experience.


We are looking for an analytical, data-driven, resourceful, customer-focused individual who also has the ability to work independently but excels as part of a high-performing team. This individual will have a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while keeping customers' best interest in mind at all times.


Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 6+ years of team management experience
  2. 2+ years of end-to-end product delivery experience
  3. 8+ years of technical product or program management experience
  4. Bachelor's degree
  5. Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  6. Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  7. Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  8. Experience delivering consumer software products and services in a high growth environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $178,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $307,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
