The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is a senior executive responsible for overseeing the technological direction of the organization. This role involves leading the development and implementation of technology strategies, driving innovation, and ensuring the effective use of technology to achieve business objectives. The CTO collaborates closely with other members of the executive team to align technology initiatives with the company's overall vision and goals.

THIS POSITION WILL ENTAIL:
- Develop and communicate the organization’s technology vision and strategy in alignment with business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for technological innovation and lead the development of plans to leverage emerging technologies.
- Establish and maintain governance processes to ensure that technology investments align with strategic priorities.
- Oversee the development and deployment of technology solutions, products, and services.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to drive product innovation and development cycles.
- Ensure that technology solutions meet quality, performance, and security standards.
- Direct the design, implementation, and management of the organization’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud services.
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the security and reliability of infrastructure.
- Provide leadership and guidance to technology teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Empower teams to execute on strategic initiatives and achieve business objectives.
- Other duties as assigned.
DESIRED SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS:
- Deep understanding of technology trends and emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and blockchain.
- Experience with software development methodologies, infrastructure management, and cloud computing platforms.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- Proven track record of strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving.
- Understanding of business processes and industry trends, with the ability to align technology strategies with organizational goals.
- Experience developing and managing technology budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
- Ability to articulate the business value of technology investments to executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving innovation and exploring new business opportunities through technology.
- Experience leading research and development initiatives and bringing new products and services to market.
- Ability to identify and mitigate technology-related risks, including cybersecurity threats, data breaches, and system failures.
- Experience implementing security best practices and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and driving alignment on technology initiatives.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Advanced degree (MBA) preferred.
- Experience working with startup companies.
CERTIFICATION (Preferred):
- Project Management Professional (PMP).
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent cloud certification.
