The Opportunity

We are looking for a strategic leader with a proven track record in optimizing processes, driving operational efficiency, and supporting scalable growth. This person should excel in cross-functional collaboration and data-driven decision-making, and have a deep understanding of resource management to enhance productivity. Someone who can lead with vision, adapt to change, and ensure that operational goals align seamlessly with our overall business strategy.

Position Overview

The Vice President of Revenue Operations will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of revenue generation and retention, ensuring alignment between sales, marketing, and customer success. This role is crucial for driving operational efficiency, enhancing performance metrics, and maximizing revenue growth. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong analytical background and experience in scaling revenue operations within a SaaS environment.

What You'll Do

  1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement revenue operations strategies that align with business goals and drive sustainable growth.
  2. Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with sales, marketing, customer success, and partnerships teams to ensure cohesive execution of revenue strategies and initiatives.
  3. Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize data analytics to provide insights into sales performance, forecasting, and pipeline management. Establish KPIs to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Process Optimization: Identify and implement best practices in revenue processes, including lead/pipeline management, territory planning, compensation plans, and establishing performance standards for sales, marketing, SDR, and customer success teams.
  5. Technology Management: Oversee the optimization of Betterworks’ revenue technology stack (Salesforce, marketing automation, analytics tools, prospecting tools) to ensure seamless operations and data integrity.
  6. Team Development: Mentor and lead a high-performing revenue operations team. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  7. Financial Forecasting: Work closely with Revenue leadership and finance to develop revenue forecasts and budgets, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

What You'll Bring

  1. 8+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, Revenue Operations.
  2. 3+ years of leadership experience; mentoring and developing business operations professionals in sales, marketing, and customer success ops.
  3. Proven success in scaling Revenue operations in a high-growth technology start-up environment (ideally SaaS).
  4. Expertise in optimizing the usage of Salesforce.com CRM, marketing automation and demand gen tools, and Customer Success technology.
  5. Experience in analytics, territory modeling, TAM modeling, compensation plans, and quota modeling.
  6. High motivation for continuous improvement and ability to drive impact in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Outstanding interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
  8. Ability to work closely with Executive leadership with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments.
