As a Growth Marketing Manager at Obviously AI, you will be on the ground floor of an incredible opportunity to pair your creativity and analytical mind to drive growth across channels like paid search, visual ads, content marketing, social, email, and more. You will work closely with the CEO and sales team to develop and execute campaigns that engage and convert our target audience.
You will have no shortage of creative freedom and marketing resources like content writers, designers, etc. at your disposal.
Our ideal candidate for this role is someone who really wants to get their hands dirty in a small, scrappy team. You should be excited about the idea of solving different challenges every day, especially ones where you have to communicate a complex product in a simple way to end users. You'll report directly to the founders, you'll be a key proponent of Obviously AI’s early success and have the equity (aka. "skin in the game") to make it worthwhile.

Responsibilities
- Continuously churn out new messaging ideas and marketing campaigns that drive user acquisition and revenue growth.
- Develop and implement A/B tests to rapidly validate your ideas by running ads, social campaigns, email campaigns, and optimizing landing pages.
- Build detailed analytics and user workflow pipelines via Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Hotjar, etc. to analyze and improve performance of your campaigns.
- Collaborate with contract workers like content writers, designers, etc. to create compelling conversion-focused marketing assets that engage and inspire our audience.
- Creatively come up with new growth opportunities and explore unconventional ways to grow the top of the funnel, including but not limited to trying new channels.
- Track and report on key performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for ongoing optimization and improvement.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record of driving measurable results.
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with experience using tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Hotjar, etc.
- Strong experience with running paid ads on Google Search, Google Display, Twitter, and LinkedIn Ads.
- Strong experience managing or working with contract workers across different time zones.
- Strong experience creating concise, clear briefs for writers, designers, and other team members.
- Experience with A/B testing, conversion rate optimization, and other growth-focused tactics.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools such as Hubspot, Marketo, Zapier, etc.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to easily explain complex ideas in simple layman language (Important).
- Ability to think spontaneously on the spot.
- Great proficiency in English and ability to start and engage conversations.
- An autonomous, independent, and collaborative work ethic and style.
- Work in a hybrid model- 3 days a week in SF.

- Experience working with small (Series A to Series C) startups.
- Experience working on a data science or AI product.
- Experience working on a self-serve, product-led SaaS product.
