Sr. Manager, Technical Production

Responsibilities
- Successfully run and lead a small, highly skilled technical team in the Global Technology Partnerships department.
- Coordinate the management of an established budget, prioritization of technical products, and staffing; recommending adjustments as needed.
- Analyze data from developer engagements and engineering research to determine impactful findings and champion these with internal and external collaborators.
- Socialize and advocate for high-value technology codebases used by our developer community.
- Lead the specialty or internally developed technology improvements.
- Participate in defining and planning internally developed products.
- Consult and contribute to bringing to bear traditional game technologies for emerging non-game industries.
- Evaluate and track work-for-hire partners, ensuring alignment with future business needs, and drive contract negotiations when the right fit is found.
- Mentor engineering team members.
- Communicate professionally, engagingly, and impactfully with all collaborators.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience leading a small team of highly technical individual contributors.
- 12+ year of overall relevant experience.
- Ability to engage with industry leaders at a technical level.
- Experience working on and supporting AAA titles in the console market.
- Strong understanding of computer system architecture and operating systems.
- Outstanding collaborative and interpersonal skills with a track record of effectively guiding and influencing within a dynamic matrix environment.
Preferred:
- Played an instrumental role during an industry-leading console rollout.
- Experienced in hosting and leading advisory panels within the industry.
- Proven impact as an individual contributor at a middleware or tools company.
- 10+ years of experience applying game technologies, especially in systems and graphics.
This is a flexible role that can be remote, with varying pay ranges based on geographic location. For example, if you are based out of Seattle, the estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.
$185,800 — $278,800 USD
