Real Estate Counsel

A law firm seeks a Real Estate Counsel to join its dynamic team in Washington, DC, with a focus on real property development for renewable energy clients. This non-partnership track role involves working closely with industry-leading clients in a range of real estate development and transactional matters. Duties

1. Represent renewable energy clients in complex real property transactions.
2. Conduct legal research and draft, review, and negotiate real estate documents.
3. Advise clients on title matters, zoning, land use, and other real estate-related legal issues.
4. Collaborate with team members across practices to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
5. Stay informed on real estate legislation and industry trends impacting clients.

Requirements

1. Minimum of three years of experience in real estate law.
2. Proficiency in title matters; experience with renewable energy development is preferred.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality client service.
5. Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.

Education

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
