Do you have experience representing multinational companies on data privacy and data security issues, solving complex privacy issues, and developing strategies to comply with global privacy laws? If so, you may be the person we’re looking for to serve as privacy counsel at eero.

We are looking for a talented privacy and regulatory attorney to support eero’s wifi products and services. At eero, we have a motto: to make wifi that just works. You will work directly with the business, including product managers and engineers, to help launch innovative new experiences for our customers and to provide day-to-day advice on complex data privacy and data security issues. You will also work with business and legal colleagues to develop effective strategies and policies related to global customer trust and privacy law compliance.

The successful candidate must be inquisitive, enthusiastic about technology (especially software), enjoy working hard and being continually challenged, and demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
- 5+ years of legal experience, with at least 2 years focused on data privacy and data protection

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience as product and privacy counsel, with a focus on privacy issues related to cloud software
- A mix of corporate law firm and in-house experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Common sense and great judgment
