About the Team:

Masters at blending art and science to drive sales, our Digital Commerce team combines creative thinking with analytics to deliver an industry-leading experience across our digital platforms. This team works closely with the Marketing and Merchandising teams to bring product stories to life in an impactful way—and partners hand-in-hand with our Digital Experience team to explore new areas of opportunity in our e-commerce ecosystem. These industry experts also stay on the lookout for the latest digital commerce trends.

We are looking for a strategic, data driven email marketing expert with operational experience. As a Senior Manager, you’ll own and drive the email program from strategy to delivery. You will ideate, optimize, and execute email programs to drive engagement and conversion to meet revenue forecasts. We are looking for someone with experience in strategy, operations, testing, data, and technology including personalization and journeys.

There will be opportunity to test, innovate, and grow email and CRM programs and directly impact the overall business. This role will report to the Director of CRM.

What you’ll do:

  • Own and drive the email program from strategy to delivery
  • In collaborative partnership, develop seasonal email strategy based on historical learnings, customer insights, and program roadmap to meet forecasted revenue goals
  • Build the monthly email calendar incorporating personalization, testing, and versioning, collaborating closely with the Brand Marketing team to achieve against commercial content strategies
  • Innovate and optimize every aspect of the program including email capture serving as the subject matter expert for email marketing
  • Analyze on a weekly, monthly, and seasonal basis. Cull key learnings and partner with Creative and Brand Marketing teams to optimize the program to drive department strategies and goals
  • Manage and execute email strategy including: campaign set up, personalization, product recommendations, file segmentation, suppression, as well as proofing to ensure every email campaign is delivered flawlessly and on time
  • Understand data flows and platform technology and be able to partner with the Tech team on new projects as well as troubleshoot issues
  • In collaborative partnership, actualize email revenue forecasts and recommend actions needed to meet the forecast
  • Partner with team and cross-functional stakeholders to execute broader CRM initiatives including customer retention strategy, SMS, and Refer-a-friend program
  • Manage and develop a small team by setting priorities, providing guidance, and identifying growth opportunities as well as stretch projects

You have:

  • 5+ years of experience working in email marketing or CRM
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with building emails in a platform including advanced segmentation, tests, journeys, etc.
  • Experience with personalization tools such as Movable Ink, product recommendation engines, etc.
  • Excellent analytical skills, being able to dive deep into data and come up with actionable insights
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with the capacity to be involved in the details and be resourceful in a lean team environment
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills to convey ideas and program results clearly and effectively against the strategy to all levels of the organization
  • Experience managing and developing a small and nimble team

Pay range:

$152,000 - $190,000 annually

Base pay is one part of the total rewards package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. This role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
