Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Worker responsible for performing and controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of products. This role includes functions such as receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, and delivery, ensuring the efficient flow of products from receipt to shipment to various internal and external customers.
Responsibilities- Assist with picking orders and loading carts with empty totes.
- Sort through returned totes from hospitals, pharmacies, and doctor's offices, separating green and orange cooler packs into different crates.
- Push filled crates into the freezer or refrigerator as required.
- Dispose of any debris found in the totes.
- Replace broken or leaking cooler packs and heat seal them in plastic bags.
- Perform other duties as needed in different departments, such as picking, sorting, unloading, and more.
- 3-6 months of warehouse experience.
- Ability to lift 15 lbs.
- Ability to stand, bend, and reach for 8 hours.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Own steel-toe boots.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Work EnvironmentThis location operates within the pharmaceutical segment, handling over-the-counter drugs and medical supplies for hospitals and doctor's offices. The distribution center ships to all of New York State and northern Pennsylvania. Work hours are from Sunday to Thursday, starting at 6pm on Sunday and at 7:30pm from Monday to Thursday. Shifts are 8-10 hours long, depending on when the job is completed. The environment is temperature-controlled between 68 - 72 degrees.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Syracuse, New York.
